Tournament Generator

Best padel Americano apps in 2026

In a padel Americano, partners change every round and, in the classic version, every point you win counts towards your own total. You can run one with pen and paper, but an app saves the maths and the arguments. Here are the apps worth a look in 2026, including where ours isn't the right fit.

We make Tournament Generator, so read this with that in mind. Everything we say about other products comes from their own websites and App Store listings (linked at the end), checked on 19 October 2026. Prices and features change, so check before you choose.

1. Americano Padel: best for classic points-based Americano

Americano Padel (by Perkodar AB) covers the padel social formats: Normal, Mixed and Team Americano, Mexicano, Mixicano, Team Mexicano and Super Mexicano, plus Beat the Box for 8, 12 or 16 players. You can score with rally points or with games and sets.

It's free on one court; Premium for multiple courts is $4.99 a month, $19.99 a year or $79.99 forever. It's rated 4.8 from 140 ratings on the US App Store, the most-rated of the dedicated Americano apps we checked.

2. Padel Americano Generator: Americano with live sharing

Padel Americano Generator (by Tradein IT LTD) runs Americano, Mexicano and Team Americano, in classic, mixed and team versions, across multiple courts. You can share live scores and standings with players and spectators.

It's free with in-app purchases: Monthly Pro $5.99, Annual Pro $39.99 or a 3-day pass for $1.99. It had 4 ratings (3.5 average) on the US App Store when we checked, so there's little feedback yet.

3. RallyGen: padel and pickleball with a timer

RallyGen: Padel & Pickleball runs Americano, Mexicano and Round Robin tournaments, with real-time points, stats, a timer and instant sharing (including to Instagram Stories).

It's free with in-app purchases: weekly, annual and lifetime plans. It didn't have enough ratings to show an average when we checked.

4. Tournament Generator: Americano-style nights, and much more

Tournament Generator isn't a dedicated Americano app, and it's worth being clear about the difference. Choose Round Robin, Doubles, Padel and Unique pairing, and partners and opponents rotate every round with repeats kept to a minimum, Americano-style. But the table ranks by wins, then point difference, not by total points, and there's no Mexicano mode.

Where it helps is everything around the Americano: fair sit-outs when you have 9, 10 or 11 players, up to 10 courts with Pro, Ladder nights ("up and down the river"), fixed-pair round robins, group stages into a knockout, season tables across your weekly nights, and a live link players open in any browser. Padel games default to 6, win by 2. It's on iPhone, iPad and Android.

  • Best if your club runs more than Americanos, or needs fair sit-outs with odd numbers.
  • Not the right pick if you want points totals or Mexicano: use a dedicated Americano app.

5. No app at all: a free Americano rotation

For one evening, the free padel Americano generator on this site gives you a rotation to print: a new partner every round, as few repeats as possible and fair sit-outs. 8 players on 2 courts partner everyone exactly once in 7 rounds; 12 on 3 courts take 11 rounds and 16 on 4 courts take 15. Keep the points on the sheet.

Which one should you pick?

  • Classic Americano or Mexicano on total points: Americano Padel, or Padel Americano Generator if live sharing matters most.
  • Padel and pickleball in one app, with a timer: RallyGen.
  • A club that also runs ladders, knockouts and leagues, or has odd numbers: Tournament Generator.
  • A one-off night with a printed sheet: the free web generator.

FAQ

What's the difference between Americano and Mexicano?

In an Americano the partner rotation is set in advance. In a Mexicano each round's teams are made from the current standings, so you play people at your level as the night goes on.

How many players do you need for a padel Americano?

8 players on 2 courts is the classic size: everyone plays every round and partners everyone once in 7 rounds. With numbers that aren't a multiple of four, some players sit out each round in turn.

Does Tournament Generator do Americano scoring?

It rotates partners Americano-style, but ranks by wins and then point difference rather than total points, and has no Mexicano mode. For points totals, a dedicated Americano app is the better fit.

Is there a free padel Americano app?

Americano Padel is free on one court, and the others have free downloads with paid plans. The web generator on this site is free with no sign-up.
