Why badminton organisers use it
- Fair sit-outs when players outnumber courts
- Rotating doubles partners
- Ladder: winners move up a court
- Season league tables
Everything runs on your iPhone or iPad with no account and no ads, and running a tournament doesn't need a connection, so a sports hall with no signal is no problem.
Best formats for badminton
Round Robin
Everyone plays everyone. Sit-outs rotate fairly and repeat matchups are kept to a minimum.
ProLadder
Up and down the river. Win and move up, lose and move down.
ProGroup Stage
Balanced round robin groups, then a knockout for the qualifiers.
Scoring
When you pick Badminton, the target defaults to 21, win by 2, capped at 30. Multi-set match formats (Best of 3, 5 or 7, or Play all 2 or 4) are part of Pro. Free tournaments record one score per match.

Badminton FAQ
What if we have more players than courts?
Sit-outs rotate fairly: whoever has sat out the fewest times is next to sit out, so everyone takes their turn before anyone sits out twice.
