How to make a tournament bracket

Paste the players or teams, one per line, in seed order (strongest first), or tap Shuffle for a random draw.
Byes are added automatically: top seeds get them, and seeds 1 and 2 can only meet in the final.
Click a name to send them through. The bracket fills in round by round until there's a champion.
Print it, or keep it open on your phone.

How many byes will my bracket have?

Enough to fill the draw to the next power of two: 12 players play in a 16-slot bracket, so 4 players get a bye into round two.

How many matches are in a knockout bracket?

Always one fewer than the number of players or teams, because every match knocks one out.

Can I make a double elimination bracket?
